today officially marks me being a
one-year-soldier
exactly one year ago
on this particular day
i got enlisted into ns
got my hair shaved,
no emancipation to talk about.
and worst of all,
stuck as a
RECRUIT
(lowest life form ever in the ns hierarchy)
for three mths

i was confined in camp on my 19th birthday
this year
i'm gonna celebrate my 20th
with a bigbang
(hopefully that is. lol)
i want my freedom back
and do the things i wanna do

for a breather
i met the special her
and we had dinner
and movie

they are all indelibly burned into my mind
a memory that only the both of us share

the conflict that unleashed a swirl of emotions in me
the ever so inherent botheration deep within
