have you ever ambled more than 30km within a day
while bearing a ridiculously burdensome load on your back
have you ever strode stretches and stretches of seemingly endless road
anticipating a rest just to realize that there are much more distance to cover
have you ever walked so much that your legs wobble uncontrollably
and feels as if they’re gonna give way anytime
right from the start
i knew it's gonna be an arduous undertaking
but i've decided to infuse my mind with optimism
and of course
i do not want to bruise my precious ego
by falling out
and so
i completed it
for the sake of a stronger mind
and a fitter body
not forgetting to earn
the blue little thing, beret
thank God that i made it through
and the bunch of buddies
who made the walk a little more enjoyable (:
